Enrollment for our birth–4-year-old childcare programs begins on November 13, 2025. A non-refundable deposit will be required to reserve your child’s spot. The center will also offer school age services including: before and after school care; and seasonal care (summer, school breaks, etc). Our center will also accept state assistance for families that qualify.

3 and 4 year old students enrolled in the fall of 2026 have the opportunity to sign up for the childcare center. Simply enroll and select the amount of days you will use the center (either 4 or 5 days). The children will transition from one room to the other when their sessions are over. This allows parents to drop them off in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon without worrying about transportation between programs since both childcare and preschool rooms are in the same building. If you have a full day 4 year old student, you would sign up for before/after care and seasonal care if needed. Pricing is not discounted for 1/2 days, as care is provided full days on Wednesdays and before/after is included with this option.
Space could fill up as we have to work within state guildelines for capacity of each room. If a particular age level fills up, we will start a wait list. Sign up is first-come. Part of the grant provides employees of C-M CSD reserved spaces as well as local businesses that contributed to the project - a specific purpose of the grant was to help provide childcare to local businesses to help the community grow. We will confirm with families that have signed up ASAP.
Before/after school care and seasonal care is available for school age students. That includes school breaks. The cost of those programs are on the fees sheet. Although we have a school age room in the center, we will likely utilize the elementary cafeteria area for the school age program. Sign-up for before/after school and seasonal for school age students will open at a later date.
The center will officially open in June of 2026, coinciding with the closure of Young Hearts. Our center will be open from 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, as well as during times school is not in session (excluding inclement weather days).
Any existing families of Young Hearts are grandfathered into the new center. Information was shared with all families in October with a deadline to indicate your intention. Young Hearts families DO NOT need to fill out the enrollment form or pay the enrollment fee. All of your information will transfer over to the new program.
Yes, we have many open spaces - the new center will hold up to 100 children, an increase of 65 from YH current capacity and school district staff will only use a fraction of those spaces. We anticipate well over 60 spaces to be available on sign up day.
As a state licensed center, we have to follow the ratios for staff per child and square footage of the rooms. Our center was designed by Atura Architecture who has built multiple centers - part of the reason we selected them. Our capacity in age level is:
Infants - 20
2 year olds - 21
3 year olds - 30
4 year olds - 24
school age - 15
